There aren’t a whole lot of online SEO/M certifications, but no matter where you go, you will have to buy the online certification class and take the SEO course and pass, before you can earn your certification. Try Googling “SEO certification” or “SEM certification” and those cert Websites will appear on the first page. Likely, if they are listed on the first page, they are reputable. Ask them questions via email or by phone about their quality of work, their testimonials and such first.

I would suggest you Google the keyword “SEO”. The top results would be true-to-form experts on the subject. Then see if any of them offer certified courses. I’m studying SEO/SEM for free with a company that has even given me a software that tells me what has to be done to improve the SEO of a web page. They have paid options and, yes, they offer the certified course you are after.

What I believe is to go through Diploma in Marketing and then learn about Digital Marketing. Learning SEO/SEM is not enough and if you learn that, it would be half stuff

Certifications are pretty much worthless when trying to get a job as an SEO/SEM professional. No one is going to entrust their business’ livelihood to someone without a portfolio of experience just because they have a piece of paper that said they took a few online classes and a test.

If you want to break into the business, get a job in marketing for some company where you can assist those who know what they are doing and learn.
