Too many competitors?
Low return on investment?
Invisible in major search engines like Google, Yahoo or MSN?
No traffic?

If you want to beat those, hence, SEO is the answer!

Online visibility is not the only thing that a company needs to acquire in order to gain online market. Your web presence is totally useless without traffic in your site, and to get that desired quality traffic, you will need Search Engine Optimization.

If you want SEO services, consider this one.

Everyone seems to be forgetting the most difficult part of SEO: getting other websites to link to yours using anchor text that you are trying to optimize for. This is by far the most time consuming and difficult aspect of SEO that I would definitely not ignore.

Without proper, high-quality inbound links to your website it really does not matter how you optimize your page - you will never get ahead if you are going for competitive keywords.

Definitely take a look at this page to see all that is involved in SEO:

Acutally the process of ensuring that a website is properly optimised for indexing by a search engine is what SEO is all about. Its not actually about getting the hits / traffic to your site even though that is the ultimate goal. Its all about making sure your site uses the best possible keywords relating to your site then making sure your content is rich in those keywords. Then also making sure your page headings / image tags etc are all correct and relevant. Certain search engines actually rank higher site which are coded correctly using XHTML and CSS. All of these factors combined are what make up the Science of SEO.

In short its the process of ensuring your sites content and keywords are best optimized to ensure a visiting search robot (used by search engines to index your site) will run through your entire site properly and understand the content and its revelvance to your chosen keywords.

It's voodoo, basically! It's all about changing the way your site is structured, and the content on the page, so that Google and other search engines pick up your site earlier in the site rankings. The aim of the game is to be on the front page of results for as many search terms as possible.

This is distinguished from Search Engine Marketing, which is about buying keywords that appear in the sponsored results. Unlike SEM, SEO shouldn't involve buying anything.

There's also what's known as 'black-hat SEO', which is a dodgy practice that involves trying to trick the search engines - for example by buying space in a 'link farm' so that Google thinks lots of sites link to yours, therefore increasing the ranking. This very rarely works, and the search engines will penalise your site if they think you are doing it.

SEO when done properly can be extremely effective, and is a great way of driving users to your site.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results, or the higher it "ranks," the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.
